Bronze statue Soviet revolutioner of Dzerzhinsky bust
Felix Dzerzhinsky (1877-1926), leader of the revolutionary movement and the Soviet state, one of the founders of the Soviet security and intelligence agencies. Born on August 30 (September 11) in 1877 on the estate Dzerzhinovo Oshmiany County Vilnius province (now Stolbtsy district, Minsk region) in the landed gentry and a large (noble) family. Since March 1919 also headed the NKVD RSFSR from August of the same year - Special Section of the Cheka - the counterintelligence, and since November 1920 and Border Protection Service. Since October 1919 the chairman of the Council of para security forces (VOHR), from November 1920 - VNUS troops (internal service). Bust is made of bronze copper, height 23cm (9 inches).
